KCET 2025 Counselling: Round 2 Option Entry Closes, Allotment Awaited

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has concluded the KCET 2025 Round 2 option entry process, which ended on August 26, 2025. This means that candidates have now locked in their final preferences for colleges and courses.

Now, all eyes are on the next crucial step: the provisional seat allotment result, which is expected to be released on August 29, 2025. This result will be based on the choices submitted by candidates, their ranks, and the availability of seats.

Key Dates & What to Expect

With the option entry period over, here's what aspirants need to be aware of:

• Option Entry: The deadline for modifying, deleting, or rearranging options was August 26, 2025, at 1 PM.
• Seat Allotment: The provisional seat allotment result for Round 2 is scheduled to be published on August 29, 2025, after 1 PM.

Candidates are advised to keep their login credentials ready to check their allotment status on the official KEA website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. After the provisional list is out, there will be a limited time frame to raise any objections, if necessary, before the final seat allotment list is published.
