The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2025, a crucial exam for engineering and pharmacy aspirants in Karnataka, will begin on April 15, 2025. The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released a set of exam guidelines along with a mandatory dress code for candidates. These measures are designed to ensure a smooth, secure, and fair exam process across all centres in the state.

KCET 2025 Exam Schedule and Key Dates

The KCET 2025 exam will be held on April 15 and April 16, with the Kannada Language Test on April 17.

Physics and Chemistry papers will be conducted on the first day.

Mathematics and Biology will be held on the second day.

Admit cards are available online and must be carried in printed format.

Candidates must report to the exam centre well before the scheduled time.

KEA's Strict Dress Code for KCET 2025

Full-sleeved clothes, jewellery, caps, and any accessory that conceals identity are strictly prohibited.

Candidates must wear light-coloured, half-sleeved clothes without big buttons or badges.

Footwear must be simple; shoes are not allowed—opt for sandals or slippers.

Electronic gadgets like smartwatches, calculators, and mobile phones are banned.

Violation of dress code rules can lead to denial of entry or cancellation of candidature.

Exam Day Do's and Don’ts for KCET Candidates

Carry printed KCET admit card, a valid photo ID, and necessary stationery.

Reach the centre at least 90 minutes before the reporting time.

Follow all instructions given by the invigilators without argument.

Avoid bringing bags, wallets, or any paper notes into the exam hall.

Use the restroom and water facilities before entering the exam hall, as movements will be restricted.

Conclusion
As the KCET 2025 exam approaches, candidates must adhere to the dress code and guidelines issued by KEA to avoid any last-minute complications. Being prepared and informed will help candidates approach the exam with confidence and calmness.
