JEXPO 2025 Counselling: Choice Filling Deadline Extended, A Critical Last-Minute Opportunity for Aspirants

In a major relief for thousands of polytechnic aspirants, the West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development (WBSCT&VE&SD) has officially extended the deadline for the first phase of JEXPO 2025 counselling choice filling. Due to reported server errors and technical glitches, many students were unable to complete the process. The new deadline gives candidates a crucial window to finalize their college and course preferences.

This extension provides a valuable extra day for students to complete this crucial step toward securing admission to diploma engineering programs in West Bengal. The entire counselling process is conducted online, and adherence to the revised schedule is paramount to avoid missing any key events.

Revised JEXPO 2025 Counselling Schedule

It is vital for all candidates to be aware of the updated dates.

Step-by-Step Guide to Choice Filling

To ensure a smooth experience, follow these steps to complete your choice filling:

1. Log In: Go to the official JEXPO portal at scvtwb.in and log in using your registered credentials.
2. Select Choices: You will be redirected to the choice-filling page. Here, you can select your preferred polytechnic institutes and engineering branches. You have the flexibility to add as many choices as you want. It is highly recommended to list a wide range of options to increase your chances of getting a seat.
3. Prioritize: Arrange your selected choices in order of your preference. The seat allotment algorithm will consider your choices in this order, from top to bottom.
4. Save and Lock: After you have finalized your preferences, you must save and then lock them. Once choices are locked, no further changes can be made. If you do not lock your choices, the system will automatically lock them on the last date.
