JEECUP 2026 Round 3 Seat Allotment Delayed: Check Revised Date, Steps to Download Result at jeecup.admissions.nic.in

The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has delayed the Round 3 seat allotment result for UP Polytechnic Counselling 2026. Candidates awaiting their allotment status will now have to wait for a revised date, which JEECUP is expected to announce shortly on the official portal, jeecup.admissions.nic.in. The council has not cited a specific reason for the delay so far, and candidates are advised to keep checking the portal for updates.

Who Is Affected by the Delay?

The delay hits every candidate who filled choices in Round 3. This includes fresh entrants and those who selected float after Round 2. Students who froze their Round 2 seat are not part of this round.

Seats left vacant after Round 2 are on offer in this phase. Government, aided, and private polytechnics across Uttar Pradesh take part in this counselling, offering a wide range of diploma courses to eligible candidates.

How to Check the JEECUP 2026 Round 3 Seat Allotment Result?

Once JEECUP publishes the result, candidates should follow the steps below on the official portal.

1. Visit the official portal at jeecup.admissions.nic.in.
2. Click the Round 3 seat allotment result link on the home page.
3. Enter your application number, password, and security PIN.
4. View the allotted institute, branch, and category on screen.
5. Download and save the allotment letter for further steps.

What Should Candidates Do After Allotment?

Allotted candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee within the revised window. They must also choose between freeze and float on the portal. Freeze locks the current seat, while float keeps them in the next round for a possible upgrade.

After payment, document verification follows either online or at the allotted institute. Original certificates and one set of photocopies are required. Missing this step will cancel the allotment, so candidates should treat this as a non-negotiable part of the process.

Why This Matters

The academic session begins on August 1, 2026. A delayed Round 3 result compresses the reporting and joining window for newly allotted candidates, leaving less time to arrange fees, documents, and travel to the allotted institute.

Action Plan for Candidates

• Refresh jeecup.admissions.nic.in daily for the revised result date.
• Keep your application number, password, and security PIN ready.
• Arrange the seat acceptance fee through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.
• Collect originals such as the UPJEE scorecard, Class 10 and 12 marksheets, category certificate, and domicile proof.

Keep an Eye On

JEECUP will soon issue a fresh notice with the revised Round 3 allotment date and reporting window. Candidates should also monitor official notifications for any changes to the fee payment or document verification schedule that may follow the delay.
