The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has announced a crucial extension for Round 6 counselling for all engineering aspirants. Recognizing the challenges faced by many students, the council has moved the final deadlines for online fee payment and document verification. This is a final opportunity for candidates to secure a seat in a polytechnic college for the academic year.

According to the official notification, the last date to complete online fee payment for Round 6 has been extended to September 2, 2025, at 2:00 PM. Concurrently, the deadline for mandatory document verification at designated centers has also been extended to September 2, 2025, at 5:00 PM.

What Are the Next Steps?

For all candidates who have been provisionally allotted a seat in Round 6, it is imperative to act quickly and follow these steps to confirm their admission:

Online Fee Payment: First, complete your seat acceptance fee payment online through the official portal before the 2:00 PM deadline today.
Document Verification: Immediately after paying the fees, you must visit a designated document verification center to get all your required academic and personal documents verified. The deadline for this is today, September 2, 2025, at 5:00 PM.
Physical Reporting: The final step is to physically report to the college that has been allotted to you. This deadline has been extended to September 3, 2025, at 5:00 PM. You must carry all original documents and a printout of your allotment letter to complete the final admission formalities.

This extension provides a final chance for candidates to rectify any pending steps and confirm their admission. Missing these final deadlines will result in the forfeiture of your seat.
