Key Dates and Examination Schedule

The NTA has confirmed that the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 will be conducted between January 21 and January 30, 2026. As is the standard practice, the exam will be held in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across multiple shifts and a vast network of examination cities. The two-session format for JEE Main 2026, with the second session scheduled for April 1 to April 10, 2026, offers candidates two opportunities to maximize their score, with the best score considered for final merit and eligibility for JEE Advanced.
