The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 result by February 12. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results on the official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in. Before the results, NTA will also release the provisional answer key, which students can use to calculate their probable scores. Here’s everything you need to know about the result date, answer key, and the process to check them.

JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Result Date

The JEE Main 2025 Session 1 result is expected to be announced on February 12, 2025. Candidates will be able to check their scorecards and rank details on the official NTA website. The result will determine eligibility for JEE Advanced 2025 and admission to top engineering institutes, including NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.

Provisional Answer Key Release

Before the results are declared, NTA will release the JEE Main 2025 provisional answer key on its website. Candidates can:

  • Download the provisional answer key and compare their responses.
  • Challenge the answer key if they find discrepancies.
  • Submit objections within the stipulated time frame.
  • Pay a non-refundable fee per question challenged (amount to be specified by NTA).

After reviewing objections, NTA will release the final answer key, based on which the results will be calculated.

How to Check JEE Main 2025 Result

Once released, candidates can follow these steps to check their results:

  1. Visit the official website: jeemain.nta.ac.in
  2. Click on the “JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Result” link.
  3. Enter application number and date of birth/password.
  4. Click Submit to view the scorecard.
  5. Download and print the result for future reference.

What’s Next After the Result?

  • JEE Advanced 2025: Candidates meeting the cutoff criteria can register for JEE Advanced.
  • Counseling Process: Qualified candidates can participate in JoSAA Counseling for admission to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.
  • Reattempt in April: Those unsatisfied with their scores can appear for JEE Main 2025 Session 2 in April.
