The JEE Advanced 2025 examination was successfully held on May 19 for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 across multiple centres in India. Organised by IIT Delhi, the entrance exam remains a gateway to the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). As lakhs of engineering aspirants completed their final step towards undergraduate admissions, attention has now shifted to the release of the official answer key, detailed exam analysis, and question papers.

Candidates are eagerly waiting for the official release to evaluate their performances and estimate their ranks. The provisional answer key is expected to be released within a week, followed by the response sheet and result announcements.

Exam Day Overview and Paper Structure

Both Paper 1 and Paper 2 were conducted in computer-based mode across two shifts.

Paper 1 was held from 9 AM to 12 PM, while Paper 2 ran from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

Questions covered Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in various formats like MCQs, numerical value types, and matrix match.

The JEE Advanced exam maintained its reputation for conceptual difficulty and precision.

Initial Reactions and Difficulty Level

Candidates found Physics moderate to tough, with conceptual and lengthy questions.

Chemistry was comparatively easier, with a balanced mix of theory and application.

Mathematics proved to be the toughest for most students due to tricky and calculation-heavy questions.

Coaching institutes have also begun releasing their unofficial answer key and paper analysis.

What’s Next for Aspirants?

The JEE Advanced 2025 answer key (provisional) is expected by the end of this week.

Candidates will be allowed to challenge discrepancies in the provisional key.

Official question paper PDFs with solutions will also be made available.

The final answer key and result will determine the eligibility for JoSAA counselling.

Conclusion

With JEE Advanced 2025 now completed, candidates enter the crucial evaluation phase. The release of the answer key, question paper, and analysis will offer clarity on performance and the road ahead in engineering admissions.
