On May 26, the IITs held JEE Advanced 2024 Paper 2 from 2:30-5:30 PM and conducted it successfully. The much-publicized question paper is now out for download by the candidates and fans to gauge its difficulty level and review their performance.
Initial reactions from students indicated that the examination on May 26, Paper 2 posed much more challenging questions than Paper 1. The question paper was split into three sections: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Each discipline posed its own challenges to the aspirants. Mathematics was one of the more difficult sections and required an in-depth understanding and problem-solving capacity. Most students expressed that the questions were quite complex and that along with the clarity of concepts, a great amount of accuracy in calculation was required.

- Physics, however was considered to be little hard to difficult. Several students held that even though the chapter consisted of problems based upon common concepts, application in complex forms made it a little challenging.
- The Chemistry section, though very tough, at least was well-balanced. It was said to be at a middle level of difficulty, but it still had an almost even mix of questions from inorganic, organic, and physical chemistry.
