Program Highlights and Startup Support Offered

SBIF Innovators for Bharat 2025 is a flagship CSR initiative by SBI Foundation in partnership with IIT Kanpur.

The program is open to Indian startups, individuals, innovators, and social enterprises who are working on solving critical community problems.

Applicants must be in the prototype, MVP (Minimum Viable Product), or early traction stage of their business.

Focus areas for the 2025 cohort include:

  • Women empowerment and livelihood
  • Water and sanitation

Interested candidates must apply online through the official website https://innovatorsforbharat.in. Applications close on 30 June 2025.

Collaboration Impact and Long-Term Vision

  • IIT Kanpur brings deep technical expertise and incubation infrastructure, while SBI Foundation adds its legacy in community development and impact financing.
  • The collaboration aims to bridge the gap between innovation and impact, enabling startups to deploy scalable solutions across rural and underserved regions.
  • This initiative also aligns with India’s national goals on Atmanirbhar Bharat and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
