IIT Kharagpur, the organising institute for JAM 2027, has activated the application form for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2027 on the JOAPS portal. Candidates can register and apply online at jam.iitkgp.ac.in through the JOAPS application link until October 12, 2026.
Registration Window and Last Date
The registration schedule was revised from an earlier September 5 date to September 12, 2026, though the portal was actually switched on a day ahead of that, on September 11, 2026. Candidates now have until October 12, 2026 (11:59 PM) to complete registration, form filling, document upload, and fee payment — all four steps must be finished before the deadline, not just registration.
How to Apply: Step-by-Step
- Visit the official JAM website, jam.iitkgp.ac.in
- Click the "Application Portal" link to reach the JOAPS portal
- Click "Register here" and complete the registration form
- Log in and fill out the application form
- Upload the required documents in the prescribed format
- Pay the application fee online
Only one application form per candidate is accepted — submitting multiple forms leads to rejection.
