The International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad (IIIT-H) has officially released the admit cards for UGEE and PGEE 2026. Candidates who have registered for undergraduate and postgraduate entrance exams can now download their hall tickets from the institute’s official website. As per the schedule, both UGEE and PGEE exams will be conducted on May 2, 2026.

The UGEE (Undergraduate Entrance Examination) is conducted for admission into the dual degree BTech and MS programs offered by the institute. On the other hand, PGEE (Postgraduate Entrance Examination) is held for admissions to MTech, MS by Research, and PhD courses. With the admit cards now available, candidates are advised to carefully check all the details mentioned on their hall tickets, including personal information, exam timing, and allotted test centre.

To download the admit card, candidates need to log in using their application ID and password. It is mandatory to carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID proof to the examination centre. Without these documents, candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.

The UGEE exam pattern is designed to assess not just academic knowledge but also analytical and research abilities. It consists of two sections—SUPR (Subject Proficiency Test) and REAP (Research Aptitude Test). Candidates who qualify in the written test are further shortlisted for an interview round.

For PGEE aspirants, the exam focuses on subject-specific knowledge. Based on their performance in the written test, candidates may be called for interviews or additional evaluation rounds, depending on the course they have applied for.

Known for its strong focus on research and innovation, International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad remains one of the most sought-after institutes for technology education in India. Due to its competitive selection process, candidates are advised to stay focused on revision and practice previous years’ papers in the days leading up to the exam.

Candidates should also go through the exam-day guidelines mentioned on the admit card, including reporting time and instructions on prohibited items. It is recommended to reach the exam centre well in advance to avoid any last-minute stress.

With the exams just around the corner, the release of the admit cards marks an important step for aspirants. Staying calm, confident, and well-prepared will be key as candidates take this crucial step towards securing admission to their desired program.
