Counselling Overview
- Registration: Qualified INI CET candidates with minimum cut-off percentiles must online register at aiimsexams.ac.in - official website of AIIMS.
- Choice Filling: During choice filling periods, the candidate shall enter his preferences for colleges and specialties after registration.
- Seat Allotment: The seat allotment shall be carried out through multiple rounds
- The first mock round will enable the candidates to know how their choices have worked for them.
- After the mock round results, candidates can modify their choices before the first official round of seat allocation.
- Reporting: Candidates who are allotted seats need to report to their respective institutes within the dates given for document verification and payment of any fees, if required.
Eligibility Criteria
For a person to take part in the counselling process, that person should have:
- Qualified the INI CET with a score not less than the minimum category cut off specified (General: 50, SC/ST; 45)
- Filled online registration form and selected their choices within the specified period.

All candidates are advised to be on the look out for any changes on the site and information regarding AIIMS counselling procedures related to the other processes which come thereafter.
It is also anticipated that during this counselling stage, about 1,479 seats which include the postgraduate classes of MD, MS, DM, MCh, and MDS programs among others will all be filled.
