  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to the official IIT Guwahati GATE 2026 website and click on the "Apply Online" or registration link.
  2. New Registration: If you haven't started, complete the initial registration by providing your name, valid email ID, and mobile number to generate your unique Enrollment ID and set a strong password.
  3. Form Filling: Log in to the GOAPS portal using your credentials. Carefully fill in all mandatory details, including personal, academic, and contact information. Be meticulous when selecting your desired three exam centres (all must belong to the same zone).
  4. Document Upload: Upload the required documents, which include a recent scanned photograph, signature, and a valid Photo ID proof (such as Aadhar Card, Passport, or PAN Card) as per the specified dimensions. Category/PwD certificates must also be uploaded as a PDF file if applicable.
