The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 results are anticipated to be announced by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee on March 19, 2025. This highly awaited announcement follows the examination conducted on February 1, 2, 15, and 16 across various engineering disciplines. Candidates who appeared for the exam can access their results through the official GATE website at gate2025.iitr.ac.in.

Once the results are released, candidates will need to log in using their enrollment ID and password to check their scores, All India Rank (AIR), and qualifying marks. The GATE results are crucial for students seeking admission into postgraduate programs or employment opportunities with Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). Alongside individual results, IIT Roorkee will also publish a list of toppers across different branches, providing insight into the highest achievers of this competitive exam.

The GATE examination featured a variety of question formats including Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple Select Questions (MSQs), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions, which assess candidates' knowledge and problem-solving abilities. Candidates had the option to appear for one or two papers based on their eligibility and subject preferences.

Following the result announcement, candidates will be able to download their scorecards from March 28 to May 31, 2025, free of charge. After this period, a fee of INR 500 per test paper will apply for scorecard downloads until December 31, 2025. It is important for candidates to keep track of these dates to ensure they have access to their scorecards for future academic or professional pursuits.

As candidates await the results, it is advisable to stay updated on cutoff marks and other essential information related to GATE 2025. Regularly checking the official website will help ensure that candidates do not miss any critical updates as they prepare for the next steps in their educational journey.
