The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has extended the GATE 2025 application correction facility until November 20, 2024, providing candidates with additional time to make necessary modifications to their submitted applications. This extension follows previous deadlines, which were initially set for November 6 and then November 10, allowing students to ensure their application details are accurate before the examination.

Key Details about GATE 2025

  • Exam Dates: The GATE 2025 examination is scheduled to take place on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. Candidates will be tested across various engineering and science disciplines at designated centers
  • Correction Process: To access the correction window, candidates must log in to the official GATE website at gate2025.iitr.ac.in. They can update specific fields in their application form, such as personal information, examination city, or even select different test papers. However, a correction fee will apply for certain changes.
  • Importance of Corrections: Ensuring that all information is correct is crucial for candidates as inaccuracies can lead to disqualification or issues on exam day.

Candidates are encouraged to take advantage of this extended period to review their applications thoroughly and make any necessary changes.

The GATE exam is a significant stepping stone for those seeking admission to master’s programs at IITs and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, making accurate application details essential for a smooth admission process.
