FMS Delhi to Begin PI Round from April 13 for Shortlisted Applicants
FMS Delhi has released the shortlist for the MBA 2026-28 batch. Personal Interviews and Extempore rounds are scheduled to begin from April 13, 2026.

The Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi, has officially announced the schedule for the Personal Interview (PI) stage of its MBA admission process for the 2026-28 batch. According to the latest notification, the interview rounds are set to commence on April 13, 2026. This follows the release of the shortlisting results on March 19, where approximately 2,023 candidates were selected from a pool of CAT 2025 test-takers.
The shortlisting was conducted based on a weighted composite score of the CAT 2025 sectional percentiles. FMS continues to prioritize verbal ability, assigning a 40% weightage to VARC, and 30% each to DILR and QA. For the general category, the composite score cutoff was established at 46.739.
FMS Delhi Selection Criteria and Weightage (2026-28)
The final merit list will be prepared by evaluating candidates across several parameters. Unlike many other top management institutes, FMS Delhi does not conduct a Written Ability Test (WAT). Instead, it focuses on academic consistency and communication through an extempore speech and a detailed interview.
| Component | Weightage |
| Weighted CAT 2025 Score | 50% |
| Class 10th Marks | 10% |
| Class 12th Marks | 10% |
| Personal Interview (PI) | 15% |
| Statement of Purpose (SOP) Discussion | 10% |
| Extempore | 5% |
| Gender Diversity (Women Candidates) | +5 Marks |
Mandatory Documents for the Interview Round
Shortlisted candidates are required to present themselves for the interview at the FMS North Campus with a set of self-attested documents for verification.

- Category Certificates: Valid SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwD certificates, if applicable.
