The journey toward securing a B.Tech seat at a premier institution like Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, which boasts a NAAC 'A++' grade and numerous top-tier rankings, officially begins now. Amrita University has announced and activated the registration portal for the Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering (AEEE) 2026 for B.Tech admissions. The application portal, accessible at aeee.amrita.edu, is live for the first phase of the entrance exam.

This is a critical announcement for all engineering aspirants, as the AEEE is the primary gateway to the diverse range of B.Tech programs offered across Amrita's multiple campuses, including Coimbatore, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, and Chennai. The application process for Phase 1 commenced on October 29, 2025, and the deadline to apply is January 15, 2026. Candidates are urged to complete their application well ahead of the cut-off date to ensure a smooth submission and secure their preferred exam slot.

Step-by-Step Application and Fee Structure

The application process for AEEE 2026 is entirely online and requires careful adherence to the steps outlined by the university. Amrita University offers flexibility by accepting applications through three different modes: AEEE only, JEE Main only, or both.

  • Online Registration Essentials:

    • AEEE + JEE Main: INR 1300
    • Re-attempting Phase 2: Candidates who appeared in Phase 1 can attempt Phase 2 by paying an additional fee of INR 600 to improve their score. The fee must be paid online via Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking.
