Delhi Technological University (DTU) has inaugurated the Vinod Dham Centre of Excellence to boost innovation in semiconductors and microelectronics. DTU has inaugurated the Vinod Dham Centre of Excellence in collaboration with key industry leaders to promote advanced semiconductor and microelectronics research. The center will support innovation, student training, and national self-reliance in chip design and fabrication.


𝐃𝐓𝐔 𝐔𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐢𝐥𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐮𝐛 𝐚𝐭 𝐕𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐝 𝐃𝐡𝐚𝐦 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞

Delhi Technological University has launched the Vinod Dham Centre of Excellence (CoE) to drive research and development in semiconductors and microelectronics.

Named after the renowned "Father of the Pentium Chip", the center aims to make India globally competitive in chip manufacturing.

This initiative is part of India's broader mission to boost semiconductor self-reliance under the Digital India program.

The centre is equipped with cutting-edge tools for chip design, fabrication, and testing.

Collaboration with industry partners will ensure students and researchers gain hands-on exposure to real-world applications.

Research at the centre will focus on areas like low-power ICs, AI-driven chip design, and next-gen microelectronics.
