COMEDK UGET 2025: Round 4 Counselling Concludes Today

Today marks the final day of the COMEDK UGET 2025 Round 4 counselling, a pivotal moment for thousands of engineering aspirants aiming for a spot in Karnataka’s private engineering colleges. As per the official schedule, the window for decision-making and fee payment for the seats allotted in this final round will close at 2 PM today, September 9, 2025. Any candidate who fails to complete these formalities by the deadline will forfeit their allotted seat, and no further opportunities will be available.

Key Deadlines and Next Steps

For candidates who have successfully paid their fees and opted for "Accept and Freeze," the next crucial step is to physically report to their allotted college. This process must be completed by 4 PM tomorrow, September 10, 2025. It's important to have all original documents ready, including your COMEDK UGET allotment letter, fee payment receipt, and academic certificates, to ensure a smooth admission process.

The conclusion of Round 4 signifies the end of the scheduled COMEDK UGET counselling for the academic year. However, a significant number of vacant seats still remain. According to a report by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK), over 17,000 engineering seats were left unfilled after the Round 4allotment. This high number of empty seats has led to speculation about a possible mop-up or spot round, but no official announcement has been made yet. Students and parents are advised to keep a close watch on the official website for any such notifications.
