COMEDK UGET 2025: Round 3 Choice Editing Starts Tomorrow

A crucial stage in the COMEDK UGET 2025 counselling process is set to begin for engineering aspirants. The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) is activating the choice editing facility for Round 3, providing a final opportunity for students to adjust their college and branch preferences.

This option is exclusively for General Merit candidates who have already participated in the previous counselling rounds. The choice editing window is a make-or-break moment for many students, as their final seat allotment will depend on the order of preferences they submit.

Key Dates and Guidelines for Choice Editing

• Choice Editing Window: The portal for editing choices will open on August 20, 2025, and will remain active until 3 PM on August 21, 2025. Candidates must log in to the official website, comedk.org, using their application number and password.
• Final Allotment: The seat allotment for Round 3 will be announced on August 22, 2025. It is vital for aspirants to be attentive to this date to secure their seats.
• Finality of Choices: Once a candidate locks their choices, or if the deadline passes, no further modifications can be made. The system will automatically save the last edited options if a candidate fails to manually lock them. This makes it imperative to review and prioritize choices carefully before the deadline.

Only Education reminds all candidates to thoroughly research colleges and branches and list their preferences in the order they truly desire. This step is critical to a successful college admission outcome.
