This round is critical for candidates aiming to secure one of the 19,242 available engineering seats. Aspirants are advised to act promptly as the choice-filling window is open only until 10 AM on September 4, 2025.
How to Fill Your Choices
To participate in this round, candidates must log in to their candidate portal on the official COMEDK website, comedk.org, using their application sequence number and password. The process is straightforward:
- Navigate to the 'Choice-filling' tab.
- Add your preferred colleges and courses from the available list to your selected preferences table.
- Arrange the choices in your order of priority.
- Crucially, ensure you save your choices as there is no auto-save feature.
Key Dates to Remember
The seat allotment for Round 4 is scheduled to be announced on September 5, 2025, at 2 PM. Following the allotment, candidates who have been assigned a seat must complete their decision submission by September 9, 2025, at 2 PM.
Important Considerations for Aspirants
Candidates should be aware that not joining or reporting to an allotted college in this final round will result in the forfeiture of all fees paid. Additionally, a penalty amounting to five times the fee will be imposed. Therefore, it is essential for students to make a final, informed decision and complete all the required formalities within the given deadlines to avoid any complications.
