The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has been scheduled at 4 PM. Aspirants who had participated in the counselling process can now check their allotment status by logging in with their application sequence number and password.

Once you have logged in and viewed your seat allotment, it is imperative to understand the options available to you. The COMEDK counselling process is structured to give students a clear path forward, and your next move will be determined by your preferences and the seat you have been offered.

  1. Accept and Freeze: This option is for candidates who are completely satisfied with the seat they have been allotted. By choosing this, you are confirming your final admission to the specific college and course. After selecting this option, you must proceed to pay the seat acceptance fee online. Once the fee is paid, you are no longer eligible to participate in any further counselling rounds, including the tentative Round 4. This is your final commitment.
  2. Reject and Withdraw: If you are not satisfied with the allotted seat and do not wish to be considered for any further rounds of COMEDK counselling, you can select this option. By choosing to reject and withdraw, you will be out of the counselling process and your seat will become available to another candidate in a subsequent round.

Crucial Post-Allotment Steps

After making your decision and paying the required fees, the next phase involves securing your admission at the allotted college. This process is time-bound and requires meticulous attention to detail.

  • Reporting to the Allotted College: Candidates who chose the “Accept and Freeze” option must report to their allotted colleges for document verification and to complete the final admission formalities. The reporting period is from today, August 22, to August 28, 2025. It is important to note that a candidate who fails to report to the college within the specified timeframe will forfeit their seat, and no refund will be provided.
  • Document Verification: Be prepared with all the necessary documents for verification. The list of required documents typically includes your COMEDK UGET 2025 rank card, UGET admit card, academic mark sheets and certificates from Class 10 and 12, domicile or caste certificates if applicable, and the provisional seat allotment letter. The college will verify these documents before confirming your admission.

What’s Next for Unallotted Candidates?

Aspirants who did not receive an allotment in Round 3, or who chose to reject their seats, can still hope for a seat in the next phase of the counselling. The COMEDK authority has announced a tentative Round 4 to fill the remaining vacant seats. The schedule for this round will be announced on the official website. It is advisable for students to keep a close watch on the COMEDK website for all official announcements.
