The Delhi High Court has directed the CLAT Consortium to revise the UG 2025 results after identifying errors in the answer key, leading to updated merit lists and postponed counselling schedules. Candidates are advised to stay updated and download the revised scorecards from the official website once released.

In a landmark judgment on April 23, 2025, the Delhi High Court has ordered the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) to revise the CLAT UG 2025 results following the acceptance of certain objections regarding errors in the final answer key. The division bench, headed by Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya and Justice Tushar Rao Gedela, directed the Consortium to republish the corrected merit list and updated marksheets within four weeks.

The Court acknowledged that four questions in the exam had discrepancies, including two questions previously identified by a single-judge bench, which led to their removal or correction in the answer key. This revision is expected to alter candidates’ scores, All India Ranks (AIR), and the cut-offs for admissions to various National Law Universities.

Candidates are advised to stay alert for the revised results announcement on the official Consortium website (consortiumofnlus.ac.in) and to re-download their updated scorecards once published. The revision will also delay the CLAT 2025 counselling schedule, which will be rescheduled after the release of the revised merit list.

Steps to Download Revised CLAT 2025 Result:

  • Visit the official website consortiumofnlus.ac.in
  • Click on the CLAT 2025 results or notifications tab
  • Log in using your registered credentials
  • Download and save the revised scorecard and merit list for future reference

This directive aims to ensure fairness and transparency in the admission process for thousands of law aspirants across India. The Court emphasized that objections filed beyond the stipulated window will not be entertained, finalizing the scope of revisions.

The CLAT PG 2025 results are still pending before the Court, with further decisions awaited. Aspirants should monitor official channels regularly for updates on revised results and counselling dates.
