Eligible candidates are urged to register for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 as the registration window is set to close soon on October 15, 2024. The exam is scheduled for December 1, 2024, and is a crucial step for those seeking admission to undergraduate and postgraduate law programs across National Law Universities (NLUs) in India.

Key Details About CLAT 2025 Registration

  • Registration Period: The application process began on July 15, 2024, and will end on October 15, 2024. Candidates must ensure their applications are submitted by this deadline to be eligible for the exam
  • Application Fees: The fee for general category candidates is INR 4,000, while candidates from SC, ST, and BPL categories will pay INR 3,500. An additional fee of INR 500 applies for those requesting previous year question papers
  • Eligibility Criteria:
    • For the UG program, candidates must have completed their Class 12 or equivalent with at least 45% marks.
    • For the PG program, a minimum of 50% marks in an LL.B. degree or equivalent is required

Steps to Apply for CLAT 2025

  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
  2. Register Online: Click on the CLAT 2025 application link and create an account using your email ID and mobile number.
  3. Complete the Application Form: Fill in personal details, academic information, and select preferred NLUs.
  4. Upload Required Documents: Ensure all necessary documents are uploaded in the specified formats.
  5. Pay the Application Fee: Complete your application by paying the required fee.
  6. Submit and Print: After submission, print a copy of your application for future reference

Exam Overview

The CLAT exam will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions, covering subjects such as English, Legal Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Mathematics, and General Knowledge. The test will be conducted in offline mode from 2 PM to 4 PM
