For more than a decade, it has become a norm for students to download their results by putting up login credentials on the webpage. They have to put up the roll number, Admit card ID, school number and Date of Birth on the webpage to download their results.
There are various websites to download Class 12 results. The results can be downloaded on cbse.nic.in , results.cbse.nic.in , cbse.gov.in . A few days later, students can get a hard copy of the results from their schools. The hard copy will stay with you and help you in other examinations you give years later.
With Class 12th results, it’s quite known that the Central Board will announce the pass percentage of the students. The pass percentage is the percentage of the result. The board will reveal the number of students who appeared for the examination and the number of students who passed in all subjects.
The board has been too transparent. To be so, they reveal region-wise pass percentage. Students can download their results in unlike ways of going to DigiLocker, UMANG app or by Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS). A SMS would be sent to students on the phone number which was recorded as details initially. Results on DigiLocker can be announced for students who have kept their personal details on DigiLocker.
To pass the exam, a student must get 33 marks out of 100 in a subject. This is combined passing marks of Theory and practical. Grace Marks is a complimentary thing. The Board decides whether grace marks should be given based on the quality of the paper. If the paper was tough and average marks dip, then the board probably provides grace marks to students.
