CBSE APPROACH TOWARDS CLASS 12th EXAM THIS YEAR
The Central Board of Secondary Education took the Class 12th Board Exam this year from 15th February to 4th April.

The Central Board of Secondary Education took the Class 12th Board Exam this year from 15th February to 4th April. More than 18 lakh students appeared for the Board exam because the Central Board of Secondary Education conducts the Board exams every year across the nation.
A major conception that the Central Board of Secondary Education takes the examination in India is quite wrong. The Board Examination is conducted by the Central Board in loads of Gulf countries. The largest numbers of schools affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education outside India are in the United Arab Emirates. The other affiliated schools are in Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Nigeria and Uganda. In South Asia, the affiliated schools are only in Nepal beside India.
Due to the large amount of migration, the Central Board of Secondary Education affiliated schools are in Singapore. As the results came out, we realised the lack of efficiency in the board exams of this year. Only 5 % students scored more than 90 % marks. The quantitative approach of this exam will show a loophole in the system which has been a rigid one for more than four decades. If we go a little more on the graph, we’ll find that only 0.97% of students have scored more than 95%.
An exam shouldn’t be examined by the “better ones” but by those who scored less. This helps a system to improve, to get better. The way the system wasn’t able to hold itself can be certified from the fact that 15% students failed. They weren’t able to get a par score.
If 15% students have failed an examination in which 18 lakh students are sitting for different subjects, then certainly something is wrong about the approach that the Central Board of Secondary Education has adopted towards evaluation and assessment.
