University of Calicut Releases Revised B.Ed 2026 Waiting Rank List; Admission Confirmation Deadline July 29

The University of Calicut (UoC) has published the updated waiting rank list for the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Admission 2026. This list is available on the official website at admission.uoc.ac.in. Candidates who have been newly assigned a seat must confirm their admission by July 29, 2026. The deadline is set for 4 PM on that day. This revised waiting list replaces the previous one that was released on July 18. Those on the new list are required to pay their fees at the college they have been assigned to. If they miss the deadline, their seat will be automatically canceled. About the B.Ed 2026 Centralised Admission Process
The University of Calicut conducts B.Ed admissions through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). Candidates apply once and are considered for all affiliated colleges under the university. The university then provides admissions in stages, depending on the candidates' ranks and their preferred choices. A trial allotment took place on June 29, 2026, followed by the regular first allotment soon after. Classes for the new batch of B.Ed students started on July 1. The waiting list rounds are happening at the same time to fill any available seats. The revised waiting rank list helps adjust the order of admissions. Some candidates may decline or not confirm their assigned seats, and the university then assigns these spots to other candidates on the list. The fee payment is done online during the confirmation phase.

Who Should Track This Update?

This update is relevant only for candidates who are waiting for a new allotment. Those who have already confirmed their seats do not need to take any action. Newly assigned candidates must respond within the given time frame. Students who have already been admitted will continue with their regular classes as scheduled. Those joining later from the revised list need to catch up quickly. If the fee is not paid on time, they might lose their assigned seat.

How to Confirm Admission After Fresh Allotment?

The university has provided a clear step-by-step process for confirming admission. Candidates must follow the steps as outlined:

1. Log in to the portal at admission.uoc.ac.in using their registered login details.
2. Check the allotment status under the B.Ed 2026 section.
3. Download the allotment memo and the fee payment slip.
4. Pay the admission fee online through the portal.
5. Report to the college where they have been assigned, bringing all original documents.
6. Complete the admission formalities at the college office on time.

What If a Candidate Misses the Deadline?
