The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released the official schedule for the Bihar NEET PG 2025 Round 2 Counselling (PGMAC-2025), presenting a final chance for many qualified aspirants to secure a postgraduate medical seat in the state. With registration and choice-filling currently underway, the clock is ticking towards the December 18 deadline. This article provides a comprehensive overview of the crucial steps, eligibility, and the round 2 timeline for all candidates, particularly those who missed the first round or are seeking an upgrade.

Round 2: Key Dates and Registration Process

The registration window for Bihar NEET PG 2025 Round 2 is brief, making timely completion essential. Both fresh candidates and those who registered in Round 1 but did not get an allotment or opted for an upgrade can participate.

  • Last Date for Registration & Fee Payment: December 18, 2025 (10:00 PM)
  • Last Date for Choice Filling & Locking: December 18, 2025 (11:59 PM)
  • Provisional Seat Allotment Result: December 23, 2025

The registration process is entirely online and must be completed on the official BCECEB PGMAC portal.

  • Step 1: Complete New Registration using your NEET PG Roll Number and personal details.
  • Step 2: Log in, fill in the detailed application form, and upload scanned copies of documents.
  • Step 3: Pay the prescribed counselling fee and security deposit online.
  • Step 4: Fill and lock your preferred choices of colleges and courses before the final deadline.

Mandatory Document Verification and Eligibility

Securing a seat is only the first step; the final admission is contingent upon successful document verification. Candidates allotted a seat must report in person to the designated centre for this critical step.

  • Document Verification & Admission Reporting: December 25 to December 27, 2025

The following documents are typically mandatory for the verification process:

  • NEET PG 2025 Admit Card and Score Card.
  • MBBS Degree/Provisional Certificate and Mark Sheets.
  • Compulsory Rotatory Internship Completion Certificate.
  • Permanent/Provisional Registration Certificate issued by the Medical Council.
  • Bihar Domicile Certificate (Mandatory for State Quota seats).
  • Caste Certificate, EWS Certificate, and PwD Certificate (if applicable), all issued by the competent authority of Bihar.

Strategic Choice Filling and Subsequent Rounds

A strategic approach to choice filling is vital, as the seat allotment is purely based on merit, choices filled, and the applicable reservation policy. Aspirants must list their desired specializations and colleges in strict order of preference. Candidates not allotted a seat in Round 2 will automatically be eligible for the subsequent Mop-Up Round and the final Stray Vacancy Round, if seats remain.

Aspirants are strongly advised to keep all original documents ready, verify the specific eligibility and reservation criteria from the official Information Bulletin, and meticulously review their choices before locking. You must monitor the official BCECEB portal, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in, for the publication of the Round 2 Rank Card and Provisional Seat Allotment Result.
