Looking Ahead: JEE Main 2026 and Beyond

For high school students currently in Class 12 and preparing for their engineering entrance exams, attention is turning towards the upcoming JEE Main 2026. While the official notification is yet to be released by the National Testing Agency (NTA), sources suggest the notification, along with the tentative exam dates, will be announced in November 2025. This is when candidates can expect the application form for the first session, which is likely to be held in January 2026. This early notice gives aspirants a clear roadmap to plan their preparation strategy.

For engineering and polytechnic students who have successfully secured their seats in various colleges, the admission cycle is largely over. The focus is now on the academic session. For those who are still holding out hope, COMEDK and other state-level bodies might conduct mop-up rounds if a significant number of seats remain vacant, but there has been no official announcement yet.
