The registration deadline for the Andhra Pradesh NEET PG Counselling 2024 has been extended to November 10, 2024. This extension provides an additional opportunity for eligible candidates to register for postgraduate medical courses under both the Competent Authority and Management Quotas.

Extended Registration Details

Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), the authority overseeing the counselling process, announced this extension to accommodate students who may have missed the previous deadlines. Initially, the registration period commenced on September 27, 2024, with a last date of October 4, 2024. Following a late registration window from October 5 to October 7, candidates were urged to complete their applications promptly.

Fees Structure

Candidates registering under the Management Quota or Competent Authority Quota are required to pay a total of INR 20,000 as a last fee in addition to the standard registration fee. This fee is essential for securing a seat in the highly competitive PG medical programs available in Andhra Pradesh.

Importance of Registration

The AP NEET PG counselling process is crucial for candidates seeking admission into various postgraduate medical courses such as MD, MS, and PG Diploma programs. A total of 950 seats are available under the state quota and 403 seats under the management quota. Eligible candidates must ensure they register before the new deadline to participate in this year's counselling process.

Next Steps

After completing the registration, candidates will be notified about further steps, including merit list announcements and choice filling. It is recommended that students regularly check the official NTRUHS website for updates and detailed instructions regarding the counselling process. In conclusion, this extension offers a vital chance for aspiring postgraduate medical students in Andhra Pradesh to secure their future in medicine by registering for NEET PG counselling before it closes on November 10, 2024.
