The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has officially opened the registration for the AP LAWCET 2024 and PGLCET 2024 counselling process, starting today, October 16, 2024. Key Details of the Counselling Process

• Registration Period: Candidates can register for the counselling from October 16 to October 20, 2024.
• Eligibility: To participate, candidates must have scored above the qualifying marks in the AP LAWCET or PGLCET exams. For general and OBC candidates, a minimum of 35% marks is required.
• Registration Fee: The fee for counselling registration is set at ₹1000 for candidates in the OC/BC categories and ₹500 for SC/ST candidates.

Steps Involved in the Counselling Process

1. Counselling Registration: Candidates need to fill out the online registration form available on the official counselling portal.
2. Document Verification: Essential documents must be uploaded and verified during this phase. Required documents include:
   • AP LAWCET/PGLCET rank card
   • Hall ticket
   • Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets
   • Transfer certificate
   • Aadhar card or other ID proof
   • Residence certificate (if applicable)
   • Caste certificate (if applicable)
3. Web Options Exercise: After successful registration and verification, candidates will select their preferred colleges through a web options exercise.
4. Seat Allotment: Based on merit and preferences, seats will be allotted to candidates. The seat allotment results will be published on the official website.

The counselling will be conducted online, ensuring accessibility for all eligible candidates.This year, there are approximately 3041 seats available for the 5-year LLB program, 5726 seats for the 3-year LLB program, and 501 seats for LLM courses across various institutions in Andhra Pradesh.
