AP ICET 2026 Registration Phase Ends as Application Window Closes
The AP ICET 2026 regular registration is closed. Candidates can still apply with a late fee until April 5. Check the complete schedule and exam details here.

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has concluded the regular registration phase for the Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (AP ICET) 2026. This state-level entrance exam is conducted for students seeking admission into MBA and MCA programs across various universities and professional colleges in Andhra Pradesh. While the window to apply without any late fee ended on March 23, the portal remains accessible for candidates who missed the initial deadline.
As of March 27, 2026, the registration process has transitioned into the late fee category. Candidates are now required to pay an additional penalty to submit their applications. This tiered late fee system is designed to allow maximum student participation while maintaining the administrative schedule required for the upcoming examination. Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur, is managing the examination process this year on behalf of APSCHE.
AP ICET 2026 Important Dates and Late Fee Structure
The admission cycle for 2026-27 follows a strict timeline. Following the closure of the regular window, the council has introduced four distinct late fee slabs. The penalty amount increases as the final closing date approaches.

Eligibility Criteria and Academic Requirements
Aspirants must verify their eligibility before proceeding with the late registration. For MBA admissions, a recognized bachelor's degree of at least three years is necessary. Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination. For those belonging to reserved categories (SC, ST, and BC), the minimum required marks are 45%.
For the MCA program, the educational requirements are similar, but with an added focus on mathematical background. Applicants must have studied Mathematics at the 10+2 level or as a subject during their graduation. Students who are currently in their final year of their degree programs and waiting for results are also permitted to apply, provided they submit proof of passing during the final counseling sessions.
Examination Pattern and Hall Ticket Information
The AP ICET 2026 will be a Computer-Based Test (CBT) held in two separate shifts on May 2. The exam is 150 minutes long and consists of 200 multiple-choice questions. The paper is divided into three main sections: Analytical Ability, Mathematical Ability, and Communication Ability. Notably, there is no negative marking in this entrance test, which encourages students to attempt all questions.
Registered candidates will be able to download their hall tickets starting from April 15. The admit card is a mandatory document for entry into the exam center and will contain essential details such as the candidate’s roll number, the specific shift timing, and the address of the allotted testing center across 25 districts in the state.
The closure of the regular application window marks a critical transition in the AP ICET 2026 admission process. With the exam date set for early May, candidates now have a clear roadmap for their final preparations. The availability of the late fee windows ensures that students who faced technical or personal delays still have a chance to secure their spot in the state's premier management and computer application institutes. As the registration portal prepares for its final shutdown on April 5, applicants are advised to complete their filings and fee payments promptly to avoid the highest penalty slabs.+2
