The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) is set to conclude the registration process for the Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (AP ICET) 2026 today, March 23, 2026. Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, which is conducting the exam this year, will keep the portal active at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in until midnight. Eligibility and Application Fee
Candidates must ensure they meet the following criteria before the portal closes:
- MBA Aspirants: A 3-year Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/BC categories).
- MCA Aspirants: A 3-year Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics at the 10+2 or Degree level.
- Final Year Students: Eligible to apply, provided they complete their degree by the time of admission.
Registration Fees:
- General (OC): ₹750
- BC Category: ₹700
- SC/ST Category: ₹650
Exam Pattern: 150 Minutes, 200 Questions
The AP ICET 2026 is a computer-based test consisting of 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). There is no negative marking, which encourages students to attempt all questions.
- Section A: Analytical Ability (75 Marks) – Focuses on data sufficiency and problem-solving (Series, Coding-Decoding).
- Section B: Mathematical Ability (55 Marks) – Includes Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, and Statistics.
- Section C: Communication Ability (70 Marks) – Tests English vocabulary, functional grammar, and business terminology.
Aspirants are advised to focus on the Analytical Ability section, as it carries the highest weightage. To qualify for a rank, General category students must score at least 25% (50 out of 200 marks), while there is no qualifying cutoff for SC/ST candidates.
