AILET is the entrance examination conducted for admission to BA LLB (Hons) and LLM programmes at NLU Delhi. The AILET 2027 examination is scheduled to be conducted on December 13, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The last date to submit the application form is expected to be in November 2026.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

The eligibility criteria vary depending on the programme. Candidates appearing in the final year of their qualifying examination can also apply.

BA LLB (Hons) Eligibility

• Candidates must have passed or be appearing for the Class 12 examination in 2027.
• General, OBC, and EWS category candidates must secure a minimum of 45% marks.
• SC, ST, and PwD category candidates must secure a minimum of 40% marks.
• There is no age limit for admission to the BA LLB (Hons) programme.

LLM Eligibility

• Candidates must have completed a 3-year or 5-year LLB degree.
• Final-year LLB students are also eligible to apply.
• General, OBC, and EWS category candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks.
• SC, ST, and PwD category candidates must secure a minimum of 45% marks.
