AIIMS Delhi, one of India’s most prestigious medical institutions, has introduced key revisions in its MBBS admission process for 2025. These updates aim to enhance accessibility, streamline the admission procedure, and ensure fair seat distribution among different categories of students.

Revised Eligibility Criteria

  • NEET UG Score Mandatory: Admission will continue to be based on NEET UG ranks.
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks: General category candidates must secure at least 50%, while SC/ST/OBC candidates require 40% to qualify.
  • Increased EWS Seats: AIIMS Delhi has allocated more seats for candidates from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), ensuring better representation for financially disadvantaged students.

Changes in Admission Process

  • Online Counseling System: Applicants must register through the AIIMS admission portal for centralized counseling.
  • Document Verification: Candidates must provide their NEET UG scorecard, Class 12 mark sheet, and identity proof for authentication.
  • Medical Fitness Test: A new physical health evaluation will be conducted to ensure candidates meet AIIMS’ medical fitness standards.

Seat Availability & Fee Structure

  • Total Seats: AIIMS Delhi offers 125+ seats, with additional opportunities across other AIIMS campuses.
  • Affordable Fee Structure: AIIMS continues to be one of the most budget-friendly medical institutions, with an annual MBBS course fee of under ₹6,000.

These updates reflect AIIMS’ commitment to providing transparent and inclusive medical education. Aspirants are advised to review the revised guidelines carefully and prepare accordingly.
