Anna University has released the TANCET 2026 (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test) result for Master of Business Administration and Master of Computer Application programs. The students who gave the exam can now download their scorecard from the official website tancet.annauniv.edu . The scorecard can be downloaded from the window that is open from May 27 to June 26, 2026.
The scorecard contains the rank, percentile score, and marks obtained in the TANCET examination. TANCET is a common entrance test for admission to MBA and MCA programs in Tamil Nadu colleges. The next important step is to participate in the counseling process to get a seat in a college of candidate’s choice.

How to Download Your Scorecard?
If you are a candidate who gave the TANCET examination then you should go to the tancet.annauniv.edu webpage on your browser. The candidate should click on the "Download Scorecard" or "Results" link. The candidate should enter their registration number and date of birth. They should click on the "Submit" button to access the scorecard.They’ll be able to Download the PDF file on the device. The candidate should print a copy for their record and then save the digital copy for future reference.
UNDERSTANDING THE SCORECARD
The TANCET scorecard contains the rank, percentile score, and marks obtained. Rank indicates the position among all candidates who appeared for the exam. Percentile in the examination shows what percentage of candidates scored below the candidate. Marks show the total score out of 200. It’s advisable to keep the scorecard safely for the counselling process.
COUNSELLING PROCESS
After the results are declared, DTE Chennai will announce the counselling schedule. The candidate must register online for counselling using the TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test) rank. Document verification will be conducted at designated centers. Choice filling allows the candidate to select college and program in order of preference. Seat allotment is done based on merit and choice. The candidate will have to appear at the allocated center to complete the admission process.
Final Steps of Registration
