The Jagannath University Entrance Examination, or JUEE 2026, will be held on 31st May, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Students who want to join the university can apply online through the official website at jagannathuniversity.org. The university offers different undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees in several fields like engineering, science, management, law, architecture, and education. The JUEE 2026 is the main entrance exam for most of these programmes. 

However, students who have already scored well in national exams like JEE Main, CUET, CAT, MAT, or GATE do not need to take JUEE. The application fee for JUEE 2026 is INR 500 for candidates from the General category and INR 200 for those from SC/ST backgrounds. For PhD programmes, the fee is INR 1,200. Candidates can pay online using net banking, debit cards, or credit cards through the website. If they choose to apply offline, they must pay via a demand draft made out to "Jagannath University", payable in Jaipur, or by cash.

JUEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility requirements for JUEE 2026 depend on the course a candidate is applying for.
For undergraduate programmes such as B.Tech, candidates must have scored at least 45% in their Class 12 exams with subjects including physics, chemistry, and mathematics. Those who are applying for postgraduate programmes like MBA and M.Tech must have a bachelor's degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 50% marks. Students belonging to reserved categories like SC/ST can qualify for undergraduate programmes with a minimum of 40% in Class 12. Diploma holders can also apply for lateral entry into B.Tech courses. Candidates who have already cleared national-level competitive exams are exempt from appearing for the JUEE.

How to Apply for JUEE 2026?

• The process for applying to JUEE 2026 is done in two ways: online and offline.
• For online applications, candidates need to visit the official website jagannathuniversity.org and fill out the application form available there.
• After completing the form, the candidate has to pay an application fee of Rs 500 for general category applicants. However, the fee for SC/ST category applicants is Rs. 200 only. 
• Payment can be made through net banking or using a debit or credit card.
  
  For offline applications, candidates can go to the Chaksu campus or the Sitapur campus in Jaipur.
• They can download the application form from the official website or get it directly from the Jagannath University office.
• Once the form is filled out, the candidate must submit it along with the application fee, which can be paid via a demand draft or cash.

The application form for JUEE 2026 requires attaching copies of class 10 and class 12 mark sheets and certificates. For postgraduate courses, candidates must also include attested copies of their graduation mark sheets and certificates. Additionally, two photographs are needed. For offline applications, it is advised that applicants bring all their required documents with them to the university office for verification. Candidates should also make sure to keep their admit card safe until the entire admission process is completed.

Steps for Downloading the JUEE 2026 Admit Card

• The admit card for JUEE 2026 will be available for download starting on 24th May 2026, which is one week before the entrance exam.
• Candidates can download their admit card from the official website jagannathuniversity.org by entering their registration number and date of birth.
• It is important to bring the admit card along with a valid photo ID proof to the exam centre.
• Candidates should check their admit card carefully to make sure all the details are correct, such as their name, registration number, exam date and time, and the address of the exam centre. 
• If there is any mistake, they should contact the university office right away to correct it.

The admit card should be kept safe until the end of the admission process. It is advised to reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the exam starts. Candidates must carry a valid ID such as an Aadhar Card, Passport, Driving Licence, or PAN Card. They can use a black or blue ballpoint pen for marking answers on the OMR sheet. Mobile phones, calculators, and other electronic devices are not allowed inside the exam hall. All rough work should be done in the space provided in the question paper. Candidates must follow all the instructions given by the exam invigilators. Any act of misconduct can lead to disqualification.
