IIM Jammu is preparing to conduct the IIM Jammu Admission Test (IIMJAT) on May 31, 2026, for admission into its Executive MBA programme, Cohort 6. The two-year programme will start for the 2026-28 batch, with classes beginning in July 2026. The Executive MBA programme is designed for working professionals who want to improve their management and leadership skills without quitting their jobs. It is a mix of online live classes and in-person sessions at IIM Jammu. Candidates who have valid CAT, GMAT, or GRE scores from the past three years do not need to take the IIMJAT. However, those applying through other methods will be tested on Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability, and Logical Reasoning.

Pattern and Structure of IIM Jammu EMBA 2026 Admission Exam
The IIM Jammu Admission Test (IIMJAT) will be held on May 31, 2026, for admission into the Executive MBA programme. This exam is designed to evaluate the management skills, reasoning abilities, and communication skills of working professionals applying for the programme.
The test consists of three sections:
- Quantitative Aptitude
- Verbal Aptitude
- Logical Reasoning
The examination will be conducted in a computer-based format.
Students’ Future?
The final selection will depend on the score obtained in the entrance test, the result of the personal interview, and the applicant’s academic background. Those shortlisted for the interview will be interviewed by professors from IIM Jammu. The merit list will be announced in June 2026. The total fee for the two-year Executive MBA programme is ₹11,72,650. This includes tuition fees, academic support, learning materials, and accommodation during the campus visit programme. However, the students are responsible for their own travel expenses related to the campus visits.
