Who Appears in the Jharkhand BTech Merit List 2026?
This merit roster orders the candidates who completed JCECEB counselling registration. Every applicant must have cleared JEE Main 2026 Paper 1 conducted by the NTA. The ranking is derived solely from JEE Main 2026 percentile marks. Only those who registered are able to enter the counselling site to submit choices. Those who did not register are not included in this Round 1 roster. They could still receive opportunities in subsequent JCECEB rounds later this year. Any eligibility-related notices from the board will be posted at jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in.
How Can Choices Be Submitted for Round 1?
Candidates who registered should sign in at enggcet.jceceb.org.in with their login details. Then select the Round 1 link labeled Choice Filling. The portal will display the complete set of participating institutes and BTech programs. Applicants should arrange institutes and branches according to their priority and add them accordingly. Ensure the selections are saved and locked by the July 9 cutoff. Changes are permitted exclusively on July 10, 2026. Any selections not locked will be considered final by the system.
Which Steps Are Required Before Locking Choices?
To move ahead, candidates must first submit the online counselling fee. The fee may be paid via net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI. The JEE Main 2026 scorecard must be uploaded to the portal. Uploading the signed confirmation page is also required. Candidates in the PH category do not need to pay the counselling fee. The board’s notice did not publicly state the precise fee figure. Before approving payment, candidates should review the amount shown on the payment page.
How Many Counselling Rounds Will JCECEB Hold This Year?
For 2026, JCECEB has stated that BTech online counselling will run across four rounds. Round 1 starts following the publication of the merit roster on July 5. Rounds 2, 3, and 4 will come next, each with a new choice-entry period. In every round, eligible candidates will have additional chances.
