BCECEB UGEAC 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment Released; Reporting at Colleges Begins July 7

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board, known as BCECEB, has published the UGEAC 2026 Round 1 seat allocation outcome on its official site, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. Those who submitted options within the counselling period may now see the college assigned to them and obtain the temporary seat allotment letter. Downloading the allotment letter is permitted from July 4 through July 9, 2026. Students who receive an allotment are required to appear at the designated institute for certificate checking and admission finalisation from July 7 to July 9, 2026. If a candidate does not report during these dates, the assigned seat will be withdrawn. UGEAC serves as Bihar’s statewide counselling route for entry into BTech and other undergraduate engineering courses in public and private engineering institutions across the state. The distribution of seats depends on JEE Main 2026 rank positions as well as the preferences entered by applicants.

How Can You Get the UGEAC 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment Letter?

The letter is created inside the applicant’s login area on the BCECEB website. To sign in, candidates must use the application ID and the password set at the time of enrolment.

1. Go to the official website, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.
2. Select the option for UGEAC 2026 Round 1 seat allocation.
3. Enter your application number and password to access the account.
4. Check the assigned institute, discipline, and category-based rank.
5. Save and print the provisional seat allocation letter.

Documents Needed When You Report

At the allotted college, candidates must bring originals and also self-certified copies for verification during the reporting period. If required papers are absent or unacceptable, the allotted seat will be cancelled.

What Comes Next After Round 1 Allocation?

Anyone offered a seat in Round 1 has to report in person to the assigned college between July 7 and July 9, 2026. Verification of documents and confirmation of admission are handled by the college, rather than the BCECEB office. Those aiming to improve their allotted branch or switch to another college may choose the next round. Round 2 seat allocation results are scheduled to be released on July 17, 2026. Candidates who skip reporting in Round 1 forfeit their right to the offered seat.
