JEE Main 2026 Paper 2 Result: NTA Releases Final Answer Key for B.Arch/B.Plan
National Testing Agency (NTA) prepares to declare the JEE Main 2026 Paper 2 Result. Following the release of the final answer keys yesterday, the path is now clear for the scorecards to be uploaded. While B.Tech results (Paper 1) were declared earlier this month, the B.Arch and B.Plan results represent the final piece of the Session 1 puzzle.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to activate the link for the JEE Main 2026 Paper 2 (B.Arch and B.Plan) results today on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. This follows the publication of the Final Answer Key on February 23, in which NTA dropped a total of 6 questions. According to the standard marking policy, all candidates who appeared in the respective shifts will receive a bonus of +4 marks for each dropped question, regardless of whether they attempted it. Candidates will need their application number and date of birth to access their scorecards.

| Category | Recommended Raw Score (Out of 400) |
|---|---|
| Open / General | 280 - 310 |
| EWS | 260 - 280 |
| OBC-NCL | 250 - 270 |
| SC / ST | 190 - 220 |
The April Attempt and Tie-Breaking Rules
For those unsatisfied with their Session 1 performance, the registration window for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 is currently open and will close tomorrow, February 25. NTA will consider the "Best of Two" scores for the final All India Ranking (AIR) in April.
In the event of equal percentile scores, the following tie-breaking hierarchy applies for Paper 2:
- Mathematics: Higher marks in the Math section.
- Aptitude Test: Higher marks in the Aptitude section.
- Drawing/Planning: Higher marks in the Drawing (B.Arch) or Planning (B.Plan) section.
- Negative Responses: Lesser number of incorrect answers.
Participating Institutes
Candidates qualifying for B.Arch/B.Plan will be eligible for admissions into the three Schools of Planning and Architecture (SPAs) at Delhi, Bhopal, and Vijayawada, as well as the architecture departments of premier NITs and Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs).
