The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has issued revised detailed instructions for candidates allotted MBBS seats through the first round of NEET UG Counselling 2026 conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The updated guidelines clearly outline the reporting schedule, document verification process, medical examination, and other admission formalities for the 2026-27 academic session.

Candidates must report in person at the Academic Section, Undergraduate Cell, AIIMS New Delhi between 22 August and 31 August 2026. The reporting window will remain open from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM on working days.

Important Points to Note

Documents Required at the Time of Reporting

Candidates should carry the following documents in original along with the required number of self-attested photocopies:

  • MCC Seat Allotment Letter
  • NEET UG 2026 Admit Card and Scorecard
  • Class 10 Mark Sheet and Certificate
  • Class 12 Mark Sheet and Certificate
  • Category Certificate (if applicable)
  • Transfer Certificate / Migration Certificate
  • Character Certificate
  • Valid Photo Identity Proof (Aadhaar / Passport / Driving Licence etc.)
  • Recent Passport-size Photographs (as specified)

What Happens After Reporting?

  1. Document verification will be conducted at the Academic Section.
  2. Candidates who clear verification will be directed for the medical examination on 1 September 2026.
  3. Medically fit candidates will deposit the academic fees and complete remaining formalities.
  4. Classes for the new MBBS batch are expected to begin shortly after the admission process is completed.

Advice for Candidates

  • Download and take multiple printouts of the MCC allotment letter and AIIMS notice.
  • Arrange all original documents and photocopies well in advance.
  • Reach the reporting venue early to avoid last-minute rush.
