Question 2

Ques. What is the admission process at CT Group of Institutions, Jalandhar?

Accepted Answer

Ans. The admission process begins with online or offline enquiry followed by the submission of an application form. Candidates for many UG and PG courses are required to take the CT SET (CT Scholarship cum Entrance Test), which is both a qualifying and scholarship exam. Based on CT SET score or academic merit, candidates proceed to document verification and fee payment. After completing these steps, students receive admission confirmation along with student ID and onboarding details. Direct admission is also available for selected programs based on 10+2 or graduation marks.

Question 3

Ques. Is CT SET mandatory for all programs?

Accepted Answer

Ans. CT SET is mandatory for admissions into most major undergraduate and postgraduate programs, especially B.Tech, BCA (IBM tracks), B.A. LL.B., MBA (IBM specializations), and others. It serves a dual purpose of admission eligibility and scholarship assessment. However, for certain diploma or vocational courses like B.Voc, Diploma in Fashion, or direct-entry BBA/B.Com, CT SET may be optional and admissions are offered based on merit alone. CT SET is conducted online, and results play a significant role in final seat allotment.

Question 4

Ques. What are the total fees for popular courses at CT Group of Institutions?

Accepted Answer

Ans. The total fees vary widely depending on the course. For instance, B.Tech CSE (IBM track) costs INR 8.4 lakh for 4 years, MBA (IBM Specializations) is INR 4 lakh for 2 years, while B.Pharmacy is INR 7.2 lakh. Affordable options include BBA and BCA, both around INR 3.3–3.9 lakh, and Diploma in Engineering (CSE) at INR 1.98 lakh. Fee structures are inclusive of tuition, academic services, and lab usage. Scholarship concessions based on CT SET scores can reduce the payable amount significantly for high-performing students.
