Candidates planning to appear for the first official XAT 2027 mock test should complete the registration and payment process today. While the overall XAT 2027 registration deadline is December 6, 2026, the August 30 mock test has a separate eligibility deadline of August 27.
XAT 2027 Mock Test on August 30
XLRI Jamshedpur, which conducts XAT on behalf of XAMI member institutes, will conduct the first XAT 2027 mock test on August 30. The mock test is designed to help candidates understand the structure and challenges of the actual examination.
The official mock test covers the major sections of the XAT paper, including Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning, Decision Making, Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation, and General Awareness. The official mock test portal will be enabled in the candidate's application dashboard after the XAT 2027 application is submitted.
The XAT 2027 exam is scheduled for January 3, 2027, from 2 PM to 5 PM. The official website currently lists 95 questions across the four sections, with 170 minutes allotted to the first three sections and 10 minutes for General Knowledge.

Candidates who want to become eligible for the August 30 mock test must complete their XAT 2027 application through the official website. The registration process involves creating an account, entering personal and academic details, selecting preferred test cities, uploading the required documents and completing the fee payment.
