XAT 2027 Mock Test 2 Registration Closes Today; Test Scheduled for September 30–October 1

Registration for XAT 2027 Mock Test 2 closes tonight. Candidates who want to attempt XLRI's second official practice test must complete their registration and fee payment by the end of today at xatonline.in — after which the window shuts for this round.

The mock test itself runs September 30 to October 1, 2026. XLRI will email the test link to registered candidates on September 30, and that link stays active for 24 hours, giving candidates a 48-hour window in which to log in and attempt the test at any time that suits them.

This is XLRI's second official mock test for the XAT 2027 cycle — the first was held on August 30, 2026. Both are designed as close replicas of the real exam, letting candidates experience the actual online test system before exam day. One notable difference: unlike the real XAT, which isn't remote-proctored, the mock test is conducted under remote proctoring, so candidates should expect to be monitored via webcam during the attempt.

How to Register for XAT 2027 Mock Test 2

1. Visit xatonline.in and open the "XAT mock test" tab
2. Click "Register for XAT 2027" (new users) or "Existing user" if you've already created a login
3. Enter your name, date of birth, nationality, phone number, and email ID
4. Confirm registration using the OTP sent to you
5. Go to the application form and fill in academic and personal details
6. Upload a passport-size photograph and signature in the prescribed format
7. Select your preferred test cities for centre allotment
8. Optionally select an XLRI campus preference — Jamshedpur or Noida
9. Pay the XAT registration fee of ₹2,300 via debit/credit card or net banking

Only candidates who complete the fee payment are eligible to attempt the official mock test — registration alone isn't enough.

What Happens Next

XAT 2027 registration itself remains open until December 6, 2026, and the exam is scheduled for January 3, 2027. XAT scores are accepted not just by XLRI but by roughly 800 other B-schools across India, which is part of why attempting the official mock tests — rather than only third-party practice sets — matters: they're built to mirror XLRI's actual test-taking environment.
