WUD 2026 UG & PG Admissions Enter Final 48 Hours Ahead of December 30 Deadline

The World University of Design (WUD), Sonipat, is officially closing its primary application window for the 2026 academic session. With the deadline set for December 30, 2025, aspirants seeking careers in Design, Fashion, Communication, and Architecture have only 48 hours left to finalize their submissions. As one of India’s premier institutions for the creative economy, WUD offers a multidisciplinary environment that blends traditional artistry with modern technological integration. This final call is critical for candidates aiming to appear for the mandatory WUD Aptitude Test (WUDAT) scheduled for early January.

Key Admission Timeline and Exam Schedule

Staying ahead of the official timeline is essential for a successful application process. Missing the December 30 cut-off will disqualify candidates from the subsequent entrance examination and interview rounds.

• Registration Deadline: All online and offline applications must be submitted by December 30, 2025.
• WUDAT 2026 Exam Date: The entrance examination is scheduled for January 4, 2026, in a remote-proctored online mode.
• Admit Card Issuance: Hall tickets will be shared via registered email IDs shortly after the registration period ends.
• Application Fee: A non-refundable fee of ₹2,000 is required for both UG and PG submissions.

Elig⁸ibility Criteria and Accepted Scores

WUD follows a holistic selection process designed to evaluate both academic foundations and creative potential. While the aptitude test is a primary screening tool, the university also considers national-level entrance scores.

• Undergraduate Requirements: Applicants need a minimum of 50% aggregate in Class 12. B.Arch candidates specifically require 50% in PCM and a valid NATA or JEE Main Paper 2 score.
• Postgraduate Requirements: A minimum of 50% marks in a relevant undergraduate degree is mandatory for all Master's programs.
• National Scores: WUD accepts scores from UCEED, NID, and NIFT for B.Des, and CEED for M.Des, allowing for direct entry into the portfolio review stage.

Step-by-Step Registration and Documentation

Aspirants must ensure that their digital documentation is accurate to avoid last-minute technical hurdles. The university emphasizes the use of a consistent personal email ID for all future communications.

• Portal Access: Create a profile on the official WUD website and select the desired program level (UG/PG).
• Document Upload: Provide scanned copies of Class 10/12 mark sheets, a passport-size photograph, and a digital signature.
• Portfolio Preparation: Begin refining a creative portfolio that showcases original work, problem-solving skills, and technical proficiency for the second stage.

In summary, the 2026 admission cycle at World University of Design represents a significant opportunity for students to enter a future-ready academic ecosystem. With the deadline of December 30 approaching, candidates should prioritize their fee payments and verify their eligibility for merit-based scholarships. Aspirants are strongly advised to complete their registration immediately via the official World University of Design portal to avoid any last-minute technical delays.
