The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board has released a new notification regarding the WBJEEB ANM and GNM Counselling 2026. The WBJEEB has opened Round 2 registration and choice filling on the admission portal, admissions.nic.in. Candidates who have appeared for the first round and those who wish to upgrade their seat are eligible to participate in Round 2. Fresh candidates from the merit list can also register for the counselling in West Bengal. Choice filling in WBJEEB ANM and GNM 2026 is only available during the dates mentioned in the official notification.

  • Candidates who missed the first-round registration can apply afresh.
  • Those who appeared and reserved seats in the first round can edit their preferences and add new options.
  • The choices selected by the candidates cannot be altered once the choice-filling period is closed.
  • Seats will be allocated based on merit rank and preferences.
  • Reporting instructions will be given according to the allotment results.

How to Register and Fill Choices for Round 2 of WBJEEB ANM and GNM Counselling 2026?

  1. To begin with, visit the official portal – wbjeeb.nic.in.
  2. Click on the link for the second round of registration or login.
  3. Log in to the portal by entering the application number and password.
  4. Select the colleges and courses of interest from the drop-down menu.
  5. Make sure to arrange the options in order of preference.
  6. Pay the counselling fee through net banking or card.
  7. Lock the choices and save the confirmation page.

Eligibility Criteria for WBJEEB Counselling Round 2

Candidates who have appeared for the WBJEE ANM and GNM 2026 examination and are featured in the merit list can apply. Those who could not get allocated any seats in the first round are also eligible for round two. Candidates who have left their seats vacant in the first round can also apply for the second round of counselling. Eligible applicants have to meet the age criteria, educational qualifications, and West Bengal domicile guidelines mentioned in the official notification. Applicants must also submit valid reservation certificates and other documents mentioned during the choice-filling process. Candidates who have already reported and got allocated seats in the first round are generally ineligible to participate in the second round of counselling. However, the eligibility criteria may vary for different categories of candidates. Therefore, it is advisable to go through the instructions mentioned in the notice published on the WBJEEB portal.

Documents Required in the Reporting Stage

Candidates appearing for counselling in West Bengal must carry the original documents mentioned below. The same set of documents will be examined again at the allotted college during the reporting process. Hence, it is essential to carry them in original and a photocopy version.

  1. WBJEE ANM GNM 2026 admit card and rank card.
  2. Class 10th and 12th mark sheets and pass certificates.
  3. Age proof documents like the admit card or pass certificate of class 10th.
  4. West Bengal domicile certificate, wherever applicable.
  5. Category certificate – EWS, PwD, or TFW, if applicable.
  6. Passport-sized photographs and a valid photo ID.

Steps to be Followed by Candidates

  1. First, visit the WBJEEB portal, wbjeeb.nic.in, and open the round 2 counselling notice.
  2. Once the new page opens, enter the WBJEE ANM GNM 2026 application number and password to log in.
  3. Ensure that the scanned copies of qualifying examination mark sheets and category documents are ready for upload.
  4. Open the drop-down menu and select the preferred nursing colleges in the order of choice.
  5. Make sure to pay the counselling fee through net banking or card before the due date.
  6. Finally, lock the choices and save the confirmation page as a PDF for future reference.
