According to the revised extended schedule, the Round 1 Merit and Allocation List is published at 10:30 AM on September 11, 2026. Candidates included in an Allocation/Selection List can select and lock one available College/Institute-Stream/Discipline combination and pay the prescribed Seat Acceptance Fee to create the allotment. WBJEEB has clarified that appearing only in the Merit List does not itself mean that a seat has been allotted. The allotment is created after the candidate selects/locks one available option and successfully pays the Seat Acceptance Fee.

What Is the WBJEE DCAP Round 1 Allocation List?

WBJEEB's Decentralised Counselling process is designed to fill residual and subsequently arising vacant seats after the centralised WBJEE counselling process. The process covers undergraduate Engineering, Technology, Architecture and Pharmacy programmes at participating institutions, subject to the applicable seat matrix and eligibility rules. Participating institutions include government colleges, government-aided institutions, state-aided universities and approved private/self-financing institutions. The board separately publishes a Merit List and an Allocation/Selection List. The Merit List shows a candidate's relative merit position for a selected College/Institute-Stream/Discipline combination, while the Allocation/Selection List provides the candidate with an actual selection opportunity.

What Is the WBJEE DCAP Seat Acceptance Fee?

The Seat Acceptance Fee is ₹2,000. The fee becomes payable after a candidate selects and locks one available College/Institute-Stream/Discipline combination from the Allocation/Selection List. After successful payment, the system generates a Provisional Admission Receipt, which the candidate must use for reporting and institutional verification. Candidates should note that the ₹5,000 fee mentioned in some earlier information is not the fee specified in the revised WBJEEB notification.

Who Is Eligible for WBJEE DCAP 2026?

WBJEEB's revised notification provides for multiple candidate categories. Eligible candidates may have:

• A valid WBJEE 2026 rank
• A valid JEE Main 2026 rank
• A qualifying 10+2/Higher Secondary Merit Rank (HMR) where permitted

The applicable eligibility depends on the institution, programme, seat source and other admission rules. Candidates who participated in WBJEE 2026 centralised counselling, including Pharmacy counselling, can also participate subject to the applicable rules. Candidates already admitted through centralised counselling do not have to surrender their existing admission merely to participate in DCAP. 3. Access the candidate portal.
4. Log in using the credentials generated during registration.

How to Confirm the Allocated Seat?

Candidates who select an available allocation opportunity must complete the payment and verification process within the notified deadlines.

The process is:

• Select and lock one available combination.
• Pay the ₹2,000 Seat Acceptance Fee by September 12, 2026, at 11:59 PM.
• Download the Provisional Admission Receipt.
• Report physically to the selected institute.
• Carry the required original documents and one self-attested copy.
• Complete institutional verification by September 13, 2026, at 6:30 PM.

WBJEEB states that final admission is confirmed only after successful physical/institutional verification and confirmation by the concerned institution.

Candidates should carry the portal-generated Provisional Admission Receipt, payment receipt and applicable original documents along with one self-attested copy.

WBJEE DCAP Round 2 Schedule

The Phase 1 Round 2 New Allocation List will be published on September 14 at 5 PM. Candidates who receive an allocation can pay the Seat Acceptance Fee between September 14 at 5 PM and September 15 at 11:59 PM. Physical document verification and admission/withdrawal confirmation will be conducted from September 15 at 10 AM to September 16 at 4 PM. No fresh choices can be added, deleted or modified for Round 2 of the same Phase. Round 2 operates on the choices already frozen during the Phase.
