NMIMS MBA Admission 2027 Application Deadline Extended to October 31; NMAT Registration Closed

SVKM's NMIMS has extended the last date to submit the NMIMS MBA Admission 2027 application form to October 31, 2026. This is the third extension for the university application—the deadline was initially October 10, then extended to October 25, and has now been moved to October 31 .

Candidates must note a critical distinction: this extension applies only to the NMIMS university application, not to NMAT 2026 exam registration. NMAT registration closed permanently on October 25, 2026, and has not been reopened .

NMAT vs NMIMS Application: What's the Difference?

Completing NMAT registration does not automatically register a candidate for NMIMS MBA admission. The process requires two separate steps:

Candidates who registered for NMAT and selected NMIMS must complete Step 2 on the NMIMS portal to be considered for admission .

How to Complete the NMIMS MBA Application

Candidates who have already registered for NMAT can follow these steps:

1. Visit nmat.nmims.edu and log in using your NMAT by GMAC credentials.
2. Complete the NMIMS application form with personal, academic, and programme preference details.
3. Select your preferred MBA programme(s) and campus(es).
4. Pay the NMIMS application fee online.
5. Submit the form before midnight on October 31, 2026 .

The application is considered complete only after successful submission and fee payment.

What Happens If You Miss October 31?

There is no indication of a further extension. Candidates who fail to submit the NMIMS application by October 31 will not be considered for NMIMS MBA admission 2027, even if they have a valid NMAT score and selected NMIMS during exam registration. The NMAT registration window will not reopen .

NMIMS MBA Eligibility 2027

General MBA programmes (Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Indore, Ahmedabad):

Bachelor's degree in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks .

Specialised programmes:

MBA Business Analytics / MBA Digital Transformation: Bachelor's degree in specified disciplines (B.E., B.Tech, B.Sc. Maths/Statistics/Computer Science, etc.) with 50% aggregate. Mathematics or Statistics must be a compulsory subject .

MBA Pharmaceutical Management: B.Pharm, M.Pharm, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, MBBS, or Microbiology with 50% aggregate .

Work experience: Two years of relevant industry experience is desirable, not mandatory

NMIMS Application Fee and Refund Policy

The NMIMS application fee is separate from the NMAT registration fee. The exact amount is displayed on the official portal during application. The fee is non-refundable under all circumstances, including ineligibility, missed deadlines, non-appearance for NMAT, or failure to meet cutoffs .
